New Horizon for Synthetic Bone Grafts

Diba Tech manufactures a synthetic bone graft substitute, composed of calcium phosphate materials in two compositions:

1) Beta-tricalcium phosphate, β-TC

2) Biphasic calcium phosphate, 60% hydroxyapatite – 40% Beta-tricalcium phosphate

The bone graft substitute is biocompatible, sterile and resorbable with high phase purity. The synthetic bone graft substitute is produced in the most economical way possible and available in powder, granule, stick, and block forms in various sizes and geometrical shapes. The total porosity (micro and macro-porous) of the  product is approximately between 65% to 75%. Following the placement in the bony voids or gap, this graft will act as an osteoconductive scaffold that stimulates bone cells to grow on its surface to an adjacent viable bone.

This bioceramics will be used as bone void fillers or augmentation material in zones requiring cancellous rather than cortical bone. This includes the filling of bone defects after trauma, reconstruction or correction in non-load bearing indications only.  Depending on the size, voids of undefined geometric shapes can be filled with granules or combinations of granules and blocks.
